About Albarcode

Albarcode (albarcode.co) makes QR codes with no ads. It turns links, images, videos and PDF files into a code ready to share or print.

What does it offer?

There are also Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, location and menu codes, and a QR scanner that works in your browser.

How does it work?

A static link code is made in your browser with no sign-up, and its content is never sent to our servers. The same goes for any logo you add: it's processed on your device.

An image, video or PDF is too big to fit inside a code, so these need an account and a plan. We host the file on a public page with no ads, and the code opens that page. Every file page has a report button any visitor can use.

You can also keep a link code in your account as a smart link. It uses a short link on our domain, so you can see how many times it's been viewed. What we record and how long we keep it is explained in the privacy policy and the terms of use.

Questions about Albarcode

How much does Albarcode cost?

Making and downloading a static code needs no account or subscription. File uploads and smart links are on a monthly plan: 3 codes $3, 10 codes $6, unlimited codes and 2 GB of total storage $10, with a full refund within 14 days of paying on the website. Subscriptions from the iPhone or Android app are refunded under App Store or Google Play policy. The whole site has no ads.

Do I need an account?

A static link code works without an account and is made on your device. Uploading an image, video or PDF, or saving a link as a smart link, needs an account and a plan. Your account is where you manage the code and see its views.

Can I use the codes commercially?

Yes. The code you make is yours, and you can print it on products, signs, business cards and restaurant menus.

Do codes expire?

A static code made on your device never expires. A code saved in your account, for an uploaded file or a smart link, works while your subscription is active. If the subscription ends, the code stops until you subscribe again.

What's the difference between a static code and a smart link?

A static code is made in your browser and its content is written into the pattern itself, so it never reaches our servers and never stops working, but it can't be changed after printing. A smart link contains a short link on our domain that goes through our servers. It's saved in your account with a view count, and you can change where it leads after printing.

Where are uploaded files stored?

On our servers, shown on a public page the code opens. File pages aren't indexed by search engines, but anyone with the link can open them, so don't upload private content.

How do I report a file?

Every file page has a report button that lets you pick a reason: offensive or inappropriate content, a rights violation, illegal content, or something else. Reports go straight to our team, with no account or sign-up needed. We review every report and remove anything that breaks the terms of use.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It works in any browser on your phone or computer, no app needed. If you prefer an app, Albarcode is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, with the same account and codes.

Is the site available in Arabic?

Yes. The site is in English and Arabic, and you can switch between them from the language link at the bottom of the page. You can make a code for content in any language.
